Is your business ready for Brexit?
(Last updated Nov 2020)
The UK has now left the European Union and has entered the transition period until December 2020. Brexit will affect everybody living in the UK. Businesses will need to adapt, as free trade in both services and goods across the European Union (EU), as well as the free movement of employees, are about to change.
The UK has now left the European Union and has entered the transition period until December 2020. For the duration of the transition period, you will be able to operate in exactly the same way you currently do. The way you trade and hire staff will not change. During the transition period, the UK and EU will begin negotiating a new trade deal and other new arrangements to come into effect after the transition period ends in December 2020. We will continue to update our blog posts as these negotiations progress, to distill the complexity of the political process and assess what the developments in the Brexit process mean in practical terms for businesses. We will do our best to ensure that we are providing information and guidance to our clients and to give them an idea of what arrangements they could face after the transition period.
