My contacts keep asking me, ‘why have you been so quiet on social media, is everything okay...?'
So to answer people's question...I guess I am one of the lucky ones! I actually couldn’t be better, both personally and from a business point of view. That said, I have been very aware of all of these people who have suffered in one way or another during this unpredictable and testing time.
But people have asked me to share... On a personal level, my now husband and I were one of the lucky couples that managed to get married some weeks ago. So thank you to everyone who supported us, both friends and family, along with all of our incredible clients and suppliers who did an absolutely sterling job during the lead up and on the day itself.
Now onto business, VA-UK… VA-UK have been servicing all existing and new clients since February 2019, remotely ‘as usual’. However, whilst carrying out ‘typical’ VA / PA duties; diary and inbox management, client support, research, travel (and event planning currently in smaller doses!) plus all those ‘fun’ things, we have also been supporting our clients in a LARGER, more complex, operational and strategic way.
From reviewing businesses; looking at existing processes, challenges and successes, to ways of working, we have dissected and proposed alternative ways and methods.

With this additional support, our clients have told us that their businesses and their teams feel better equipped, with new tools and resources. More of their tasks are achievable and they are feeling less overwhelmed. The result is that they are able to devote more time and energy to the BIGGER tasks at hand. As a result, in looking at their business as a whole, reviewing the end to end process, project managing and strategising, we have enabled them to achieve a higher level of productivity.
During the pandemic a lot of our clients have had to readjust their business models along with the way that they work; not only internally with their teams and processes but externally with clients and suppliers.
Many of our contacts have told me that they had no idea that VA-UK offered these services. As a result, we have decided to highlight this. So whilst our USP hasn’t changed as such, we wanted to share our wider offerings, over and beyond VA / PA support.
